can you believe we're over a quarter of the way into this project, seriously time has flown ... 

being back in the same time zone makes life so much easier when it comes to project & posting ... 

we are back on schedule people (whoop whoop) ... 

anyways this weeks theme was "light" which is a much antidote to the 40 degree temperature drop i experienced when returning to grey & dark & winter like germany (yes i miss the sunny warmth of california) ... 

so here's our interpretation of "light"!

& as promised ... this weeks theme ... "fall"! Yes with all the craziness that has gone on in our little worlds we decided to keep it simple but hey simple can be gorgeous right! So here's a little fall inspiration for you all!

picture perfect ...

you know that place you could go back to again ... & again ... & again ... well Lake Constance, at the foot of the alps & bordering Germany, Austria & Switzerland is that place!

Fall ...

This is the first year i've actually gotten out & appreciated the colours of fall ... it's not that i don't love fall, i do it's just it's the end of summer & the days are getting shorter & well you know how it goes. By the time you get over your post summer blues at least over here i feel like i've missed the falling leaves & everything that goes with. So off i headed down to a lake close to where we live in search of inspiration ... & instead i got clouds & the threat of rain (oh & duck poop on my jeans). I was disappointed so the next day i threw (not literally of course) the camera in the car with the hope of blue skies (a given since i had to work that day). & yes there they were & on leaving work i got to head back to said lake & have some fun with my new lenses. I think it was worth it!

harvest time ...

hubby bought me a present ... a wonderful wonderful happy anniversary present ... a tokina 11-16mm ... oh yeah it's gonna be fun!
